The Three P’s – Peace, Pout and Pose!

Ball season has started and we’ve come to realise that school students have the Three P’s perfected! Let’s take a look at some examples..

First up we have ‘Peace’, one of the most popular booth poses. The perfect last-minute pose if you have missed the 4… 3…. 2… and turn around to the number 1 appearing on the screen!

Next up is the Pout , well and truly perfected by high school students. This one can take a bit of practice, but once you’ve got it sorted you can’t go wrong with a good pout!

And finally we have the all round ‘Pose’. This can be anything from the Surprised Face… Fish Lips… Charlies Angels… Bunny Ears… Tongues out and if you’re lucky maybe even a peck on the cheek! (Bonus points for a variety!)

Whatever you decide to do in the booth, whether it’s spontaneous or pre-planned, the Photo Booth Fun staff love hearing all of the hysterical laughter coming from behind that curtain when you first see your captured photo!

Last weekend the Hawkes Bay PBF team had the chance to spread some good cheer with a great bunch of kids and their families at the Special Children’s Extravangaza Party in Napier.  Check out the Photo Booth Fun gallery here.

Heaps of local businesses supported the day – either with their services like us, or by contributing gifts to the present cave and there were heaps of volunteers helping out on the day too.

Fun With Props

We are finding props are making the party this season!

They add so much fun to any event. Whether you are having a wedding, a party, a school ball or any party really, there is one essential ingredient…….it needs to be FUN!!!!!   A photo booth definitely adds the fun to any event but adding a photo booth with props takes it to a whole new level.

Props give the guests a chance to let loose and be silly. They also add spontaneity and help create great looking photos.  You are guaranteed huge amounts of laughs, with guests lining up to get a piece of the action. Creating lasting memories the best way we know how…with laughter.

Take a look at this beauty. She took a colourful hat with some funny glasses and added a gorgeous smile to boot.  Perfect!!!!

North City Wedding Expo here we come!

IMG_0275The North City Wedding Expo is almost upon us Wellingtonians!

And its a great way to find everything you need for a wedding all under one roof – especially your booth! We’ve said it before but it bears repeating – you try out lots of other things that go into your wedding (even your future spouse!) so you really should get your props on and get into one of our booths. Its a great way to get in some wedding day kiss practice and we know this because trying to find a photo from last year’s expo that didn’t involve a lip-locked couple was no easy task!

If you haven’rt already sent out invites or other details about your wedding hold onto those strips you get from the booth because with a little scanning and some creativity you could have some really fun images!

We’ve talked about how much we enjoy these expos before and its true – they really are a great way to meet brides, grooms and families and start the process of creating memories. So come along to the Te Raupararaha Arena in Porirua on 24 January and come give our fantastic booth a trial run!

The team at Photo Booth Fun would like to wish you all the very best for the holiday season! Though I’m writing this from Sunny Hawkes Bay I know all our staff from right around the country join with me in Merry Christmas

We’ve been involved in some awesome events this year in Hawkes Bay, from Weddings to 21st Parties, from 50th, 60th and 70th birthdays to the Special Children’s Extravaganza, from School Balls to  work conferences and functions and an amazing night at Christmas at the Park with Dave Dobbyn and 27000 guests I can honestly say it’s been a fantastic year for Napier, Hastings, Havelock North and the whole Hawkes Bay region!

And 2016 is looking to be even better! I look forward to our team coming to your special event and adding some extra photobooth fun!

Welcome to the end of June folks!

It has been a month of chilly weather here in the Bay of Plenty, in fact all over the country it has been freezing! I hope you’ve all kept safe, dry and warm over the last month, it’s sad to say but I think it’s only going to get colder!

With the cold weather there comes comfort in warming up with friends and family and reminiscing over fond memories. Memories are great, but can fade, so sometimes having a picture to renew those old feelings can be a valuable addition to any story or evening around the fireplace. Unfortunately some photos don’t stand the test of time, however some do. Like the high quality colour, or black and white prints from our Photo Booths.

We know that our equipment is top notch, and delivers exceptional results, consistently, that stand the test of time. Which given that you’re paying your hard earned money for our services, transforms the experience from a mere novelty, to a worthwhile investment in memories that can be drawn upon time and time again to provide cheer when the weather or other factors conspire to make the outlook gloomy.

Hawkes Bay is fast becoming known as the Wedding Capital of New Zealand because of our amazing weather and wineries and second to none service industry. And the Hawkes Bay Team get to have our photo booths at some amazing weddings in Napier, Hastings, Havelock North and beyond!
