Happy 150th Hamilton City!

Hamilton, City of the Future aka The Tron, celebrates it’s 150th Anniversary on 22nd November.  The council has $1.50 bus fares all day so no need to worry about parking, just jump a bus and head to the city.

There is a huge party from 3.00pm – 9.00pm with loads of fun events for the family and culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.

Photobooth Fun will be there collecting gold coins for a chosen charity, so make sure you come on down and get a family snap.

For the super-keen, there is a mass Time Warp dance and party down at the Riff Raff statue on Victoria Street from 10.00pm-11.00pm.

We love bringing our booth to themed parties; it’s great to see such a variety of costumes in the booth and it’s a great way to help people overcome any shyness – Nothing like a good disguise to encourage a photo or two!

What we also love is joining in the dress up spirit – Our team embrace the chance to join in and I think that our Christchurch operator, Klaudia nailed it with her Day of the Dead look for Mexicano’s Dia De Muertos party.

The team at Mexicano’s obviously share our enthusiasm for joining in the party spirit – We love these guys!

Looking forward to the next excuse to dress up for the booth!

Wedding Tasters at the Atrium

Over the last month, the Christchurch team had the pleasure of bringing our booth to a series of special wedding tasters at The Atrium in Hagley Park.

Events like these are a great way for people to get ideas and plan for their big day and for us, it’s always fun to meet happy couples and get them in for a turn in the booth. Once again, there was a lot of silliness in the booth and laughs were the order of the day.

It’d been a long time since I’d been to The Atrium and it’s looking fantastic. It’s in a beautiful setting and has great views out to the park. And the team managing it all, Victoria Foods, are also excellent caterers! Trudy and Gael did a great job organising the tasters events and it’d definitely be worth your while getting in touch with them if you’re planning your wedding.

I can’t wait to have the booth back at the Atrium again soon!

If the Doctor had a TARDIS photo booth…

So the Doctor has recently regenerated, cool :) What if his TARDIS also regenerated… into a Photo Booth! Way COOLer!!

With a network of photo booths New Zealand wide, we travel everywhere.  We just need access and a power supply!  Like our Tauranga booth spending the weekend in Whakatane with Bay Rock Radio 1XX.

We’ve even mastered time travel*  That’s right, you can now book our photo booth eons into the future and we’ll be there ;)

Note: We don’t have a TARDIS shaped photobooth, but we can dress ours up like one! Please enquire when booking for availability & costs.

*While our current photo booths are one way time devices only, this TARDIS photo booth could be the inspiration for our next upgrade

School Ball Waikato

Balls and formals have always been the highlight of any high school calendar. Starting as early as July, the young people of New Zealand don their very finest and undertake an extensive beautification routine for the big night.
Photobooth Fun are a perfect addition to the night’s celebrations. We provide several package deal options for schools and are always happy to customise the booking to suit.

A Mad Affair!

We recently had the privilege of bringing our booth to the Mad Hatters’ Ball in Christchurch.  This was the latest incarnation of the annual fundraiser held by our friends at Shocking Pink and wow, what a turnout and WOW, what hats!!

But I think this train hat has to be my favourite! An impressive fit in our photo booth!

 

I love bringing the booth to join the Shocking Pink party – Not just because it’s so much fun, but also because this is a great charity well worth supporting.

I can’t wait to see the fabulous costumes at next year’s ball!
