We all know Photo Booth Fun have the best photo booths out but did you know we also have the best Booth Operators ever?

Our operators operate the booth with style! Turns out we all love our job and love nothing more than hanging out with you and the booth at your events. Dedicated to making sure your event is fun, entertaining and an occasion that people will talk about for months! Check Ngaere from the Taranaki team out!

She has to be the perfect example of how far we will go for you! We are told Ngaere was up colouring her hair and painting her face at 5am for the Mad Music themed Hawera A&P Show – I think you will agree she really did make an awesome rock star!

Imagine a dream like place with stunning clothes, delicious cupcakes, tasty bubbles, friendly people AND our amazing photo booth! If only such a place were real. Oh wait it is and that is exactly what the Taranaki team are planning for New Plymouth next week!

That’s right people Photo Booth Fun are now in Taranaki and we want to meet you all! We know once you try the booth you will be hooked! Our team invite you to join us at Katwalk Fashion House next Thursday 3rd of October from 5 till 7pm for what is sure to be a super fun night! You can have a look through the latest fashions that Katwalk have in store. (I hear new stock will be arriving that very day, timed perfectly for our Taranaki launch). You can enjoy hanging out with some pretty cool people and best of all you can try our booth for yourself and that is only the beginning!

We are so excited to show off our new booth and what perfect timing with Christmas and wedding season just around the corner! So get yourself to Katwalk next Thursday – you know all the cool kids will be there!

We recently attended the Bartercard National Conference so most of the Bartercard staff have experienced the hilarity and goings on of a photo booth at their event.
We can attend your business conferences, AGMs, Christmas functions, promotion events, expos, set up in your staff lunchroom, store openings, sales days and even set up in store for your customers. Canterbury Spring – Off to a good start!

Is anyone else out there glad it’s spring? The blossoms are out in force in Christchurch (so pretty!) and the Photo Booth Fun team are certainly happy to say bye to winter!

The start of  September saw us taking the photo booth on its first ever Gondola ride – We were at the Vero Marine Division’s 20th anniversary party up the top of The Christchurch Gondola and I’ve gotta say, that’s the best way I’ve ever travelled to an event! Such an incredible view and such a fun night. Another fabulous party organised by the talented team at Madant – They take having fun very seriously:

Now unless you’re in the know with the PBF team, you are probably unaware that our lovely booth attendant, Emily, is a very on the ball student and a part of the Future Leader Scholars at Lincoln University . This team created the the amazing Lend A Hand charity group:

As a result of the 2011 earthquake, the team of scholars established an annual event to give back to the community. Every year they come up with a novel means of raising money for a charity in need.

And this year, on the 27th September, we get to be a part of the action at the Lend a Hand Charity Evening. The event is aimed at raising awareness and funds for Youthline Canterbury and they have a fantastic night lined up (even on top of the photobooth!).  Tickets are selling quick so get on in and support a good cause!

OK so normally I hate to see people posting this early about Christmas but sometimes there’s a good reason…

see here in Hawkes Bay, and I’m sure around the rest of the New Zealand, we have super-organised people who like to get their staff or organization Christmas Party sorted nice and early so they don’t get disappointed when we say we’re already booked that night.

Did you know our photobooths can travel?

Yep “Big Red” aka Elmo, jumps on a Mainfreight truck most weeks getting between our Regions in Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Auckland, Taranaki, Wellington, Hawkes Bay and Christchurch covering all the events we might not otherwise have been able to do without him.

So even if you’re thinking about last-minute bookings, don’t hesitate to contact Suze in our administration department with your enquiry.  Suze has a background in the travel industry so she has no trouble creating an itinerary for Big Red.  He’s been all over New Zealand so maybe the next event he’s at will be yours.

We love Big Red as he’s been all through the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki with us.  He’s been to school balls, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays, engagements and hen and bachelor parties.

He’s a super-hero in our Photobooth Fun team!

Speaking of our super heroes…here’s our super-groom Jonathan from this weekend’s gig.  Congratulations to Jonathan who married his own Lois Lane (Kelli-Brooke) this weekend.

Happy 40th Birthday!

A big Happy 40th Birthday to our Waikato/BOP manager Corey who turns the big 4-O next week. Corey proves that you’re never too young to have your face painted! We think Corey looks pretty great for 40 and anyone who lets his wife do this to him must be a good bloke.

We’ll be rocking the Photobooth at the party tonight – don’t forget to book us for your celebration…photos are the memories you never have to forget (although some you might want to).

Enjoy June everyone – if the weather’s not great where you are, head out and rent (or buy) a NZ made film!

School Ball Photo Booth Fun in Hawkes Bay

Well we’re well and truly into School Ball Season here in the Sunny (even if it’s getting a little colder) Hawkes Bay! Here’s a few images from the Taradale High School Viva Las Vegas themed ball held at the Rodney Green Events Centre in Napier on Saturday, I especially love it when the staff really get in on the act… THS-2

Say hello winter Wellington

Well that’s it, it’s officially Winter here in The Middle of Middle Earth and as we bid a fond farewell to the sun for another year we can also look back over the absolute bumper season we’ve had!

From happy couples to helicopters – Just another month in Chch!

Once again the month has flown by – And what a month it’s been!

We were pleased to have our booth back at The great NZ Bridal Show in Christchurch this year- Wow, what a day! We met so many lovely couples and had a great time showing everyone the fun of our photo booth. There were a lot of curious looks from passers-by at the squeals and giggles and  coming from behind the curtain – we’re so glad so many of you stopped by to have a turn of your own. And congratulations to Toni, the winner of our Expo prize – Well done!

Of course, having a turn in the booth is unrivalled fun, but something that often gives it a good run for its money is watching it all happen from the outside – listening to the sounds of hilarity coming from within the booth and seeing all the feet shuffling about to make their next pose is pretty amusing.  So a lot of fun was had by those both in and out of the booth at the BDO conference in Queenstown – We had two booths, a heap of fun props and lots of attempts to beat the most people in the booth at one time record so I’m sure you can imagine the laughs on both sides of the curtain.

And as well as meeting so many cool people at the BDO conference, our trip to Queenstown was made so much easier by our friends, the functions team and the staff at the Millennium Hotel – Those guys are so helpful and efficient and coupled with the excellent amenities and amazing setting, I would recommend them to anyone as a fantastic conference venue.

Last weekend we were proud to be part of the Air Rescue & Emergency Services Open Day, a brilliant day with so many fun things to see and do (who got to ride in the helicopter?!) and an excellent turnout. These guys provide such an important service to the public, it was great to see so  many people coming along to show their support. And the weather showed its support of this amazing organisation too by staying fine all day! Lets hope for more of the same as we head into the last month of Autumn..
