Hawkes Bay is fast becoming known as the Wedding Capital of New Zealand because of our amazing weather and wineries and second to none service industry. And the Hawkes Bay Team get to have our photo booths at some amazing weddings in Napier, Hastings, Havelock North and beyond!

But, I get the bonus of being the Photo Booth Fun’s in-house graphic designer and therefore have the privilege of putting together the custom strip designs for photobooth functions right across the country. As the “wedding season” is basically over for another year I thought I’d share some of my favourite designs from the season. Enjoy and be inspired…

Well it is almost ‘Taranaki Autumn Ball’ time in the Naki!

Tickets sold out in just 2 weeks it was CRAZY and we know there are a lot of Taranaki people out there that are absolutely gutted that they missed out…..well it turns out we have 2 of the very last tickets! and we want to give them away to one of you!

Photo Booth Fun will be at the DMan Taranaki Autumn Ball with one of our beautiful booths – we are so excited! The booth photos will be stunning with everyone in their formal wear looking like A List stars! Our booths give you an awesome way to capture yourself looking all glam and lets face it… it is a lot more fun than the old formal photo thing!

It’s Ball time in Taranaki!

This is going to be awesome!

Photo Booth Fun will be hitting the Taranaki Autumn Ball in May and we can’t wait! It turns out 350 other people were equally excited and snapped up all the tickets within the first few weeks of sale! We hope if you are in The Naki that you got your tickets nice and early but if you didn’t then don’t stress because we can come to your next event! We can’t think of an event that our booths wouldn’t be perfect for – if you are hosting guests then chances are  a Photo Booth Fun booth would be the perfect way to keep your guests laughing!

We were stoked to be involved with a heap of you last ball season and would love to bring our booth along this year too. Speaking of secrets, did you know one of the coolest surprises to keep secret for your event is one of our Booths! We often take bookings from brides, grooms, event planners, birthday boys and girls (the list goes on) that organise a Photo Booth Fun booth for their event but say “don’t tell anyone because this is going to be the best surprise ever” And it rally is! Nothing like having something to surprise your guests with to make you event even more special.

The Bay of Plenty photo booth ends up in some fairly out of the way spots, and we’re often asked ‘how far do you go?’ Well that’s an excellent question!

With our Tauranga base we offer FREE delivery within 50kms of the Tauranga CBD, and that covers all of the local conference facilities and wedding venues, and includes Katikati to the North, Pyes Pa, Papamoa and Te Puke to the South.

But we go much further, in fact as long as you’ve got vehicle access and power we cover the whole of the Bay of Plenty region – including Rotorua, Kawerau, Whakatane and Opotiki.

If you’re thinking even further afield, then don’t worry we’ve our network of photo booth regions all over New Zealand – with booths in Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Napier, Wellington and Christchurch each region offers free delivery within 50kms of the CBD, and that’s a massive chunk of New Zealand covered!

Hello 2015 and Hello Wedding Season!

Everybody loves a good wedding and here at Photo Booth Fun we really really love a good wedding! What’s not to love? a beautiful bride in an amazing gown, pretty flowers, guests who travel from near and far to party with you, tasty drinks and cake (never forget the cake)!

But what we really love about weddings (even more than the cake) is watching the smiles and cheeky glances of the booth goers! You just can’t beat listening to the uncontrollable laughter coming from our booths when that curtain closes and the first flash fires! We don’t always know what is going on behind that curtain but it sure sounds amazing… after all we all know that people do the funniest thing’s when they think no one’s watching!

2014 – We have had a BLAST!

2014 Where did you go? Time sure flies when you are having fun!

Our Taranaki team have had an AMAZING year! Sneaking into the photo booth at MANY events while hanging out with some very cool people!

From Brides to Mud Runners, Babies to 85 year olds and Charity events to major functions with everything in between! January to December we just haven’t stopped and neither have the laughs, smiles and crazy poses! There are days we ask ourselves “how can this be work”? Seriously the booth is too much fun to be work!

Thanks Taranaki – you awesome people you!

A Deluxe ‘Pink’ Evening in the Bay

We love supporting local community and charity events, so when our new Tauranga operator Holly mentioned she was assisting with a Breast Cancer Awareness fund raiser we knew we just had to be a part of it.

Hosted by Temptations lingerie & swim wear together with Heaven & Home, guests enjoyed an evening of fine lingerie, swimwear and

fashion with complimentary bubbles & nibbles along with our awesome photo booth to capture the glitz and glamour of the night ;)

When our photo booth decided to get dressed up…

We all like to get dressed up and look good for special occasions and the Taranaki photo booth is no different! Even though our photo booths are some of the prettiest around the Naki booth decided to go all out for the recent le Diner en Blanc here in New Plymouth and go for a slightly different look for the evening….

I hear you asking “but what is the le Diner en Blanc that you speak of” well quiet simply it is a lot of white! White on white on white! A rather fancy occasion with lots of fun little quirks that make it what it is – an incredible night out! There are a number of rules for partaking but the number one rule is EVERYTHING must be WHITE! This posed one teeny tiny problem for our booth …. our booth is … well…. It’s dark brown! Not one to step back from a challenge the Taranaki booth agreed to undergo a bit of a  transformation…along came some magical sewing elves … otherwise known as Tarsh (one of the Taranaki booth operators) and Jordan (one of the Taranaki regional managers) …what happened next was nothing short of AMAZING!

I will let the photos tell the story but basically what followed was a number of late, very late nights (or early mornings hard to tell??) and about 100 cups of coffee…but the end result was a beautiful, elegant and totally WHITE photo booth – roof and all!
