Valentines Day 2016 saw the Auckland crew attend some stunning weddings (it always is a very popular date to tie the knot), but this year we also had the pleasure of being a part of the Big Gay Out.  This is Aucklands favourite annual gay event, and this year it was bigger and better than ever!

We had a booth set up at the Rainbow Committee Advisory Panel stall and it was a massive hit!  It was used non-stop all day long and everyone had a blast striking up different poses with the props!

Here is what the organisers had to say after the event:-

 
“I just wanted to touch base and say what a fantastic addition the Photo Booth was to our Rainbow Panel stall on Sunday. A lot of people had a lot of fun dressing up and were very appreciative of the free photo strip memento. The booth operator on the day (Sai) was excellent.”

“The Photo Booth created so many happy memories for many from our communities.”

We’ve kicked off 2016 in Canterbury with lots of fun celebrations – Weddings, anniversary, birthdays; we’ve been lucky enough to be part of some awesome parties so far.

This Waitangi Day, Tahu FM celebrated its 25th birthday, where former and present day Tahu FM MCs and staff celebrated 25 years – And we were invited along to capture the festivities!

 

A great team of people and a great night – And thanks to our awesome instant prints, the memories are indelible!

And although we’re based in Christchurch, Canterbury, we travel the entire South Island so nobody needs to miss out on the fun!

It sure has been hot lately, the perfect kiwi summer…and what do us kiwi’s do every summer – we head to the beach!

We have found the perfect way to spend our summer and we think you will agree it ticks all the boxes! Imagine a place where you can relax and enjoy delicious food and live music while wondering through stalls of some incredibly talented people selling beautiful products all on the water’s edge – sounds unreal doesn’t it?? Turns out this amazing place exists right here in New Plymouth. We have been spending our kiwi summer at the beach with our wonderful photo booth thanks to The Seaside Market – it really is a fantastic event with the best summer vibes. Happy new year photo-boothers!!  It really is crazy to think the festive season is behind us and 2016 is in full swing!!!

With a new year, always comes new years resolutions.  Did you make one this year?  Its not something we normally do, but thought why not, lets give it a go!  So, as we embark on 2016 we have made a pact to eat healthier, be more active and laugh more!  Pretty simple right?!?!  Lets see in a few months time!! :)

And of course we couldn’t have a personal resolution and not a professional one – and its actually a very simple one …. we just want to make more people smile!  In fact, its pretty hard NOT to smile inside our booths, but just to help increase the levels of smiles we get, we are now including a box of props with every one of our packages.  Thats right – no matter what package you book with us, you will now get a box of props included.  Props are the perfect way to make you laugh and smile, and they always go down a treat at any event.

2016 is shaping up to be an awesome year in so many ways – and we hope its going to be a fab one for you too!

North City Wedding Expo here we come!

IMG_0275The North City Wedding Expo is almost upon us Wellingtonians!

And its a great way to find everything you need for a wedding all under one roof – especially your booth! We’ve said it before but it bears repeating – you try out lots of other things that go into your wedding (even your future spouse!) so you really should get your props on and get into one of our booths. Its a great way to get in some wedding day kiss practice and we know this because trying to find a photo from last year’s expo that didn’t involve a lip-locked couple was no easy task!

If you haven’rt already sent out invites or other details about your wedding hold onto those strips you get from the booth because with a little scanning and some creativity you could have some really fun images!

We’ve talked about how much we enjoy these expos before and its true – they really are a great way to meet brides, grooms and families and start the process of creating memories. So come along to the Te Raupararaha Arena in Porirua on 24 January and come give our fantastic booth a trial run!


2016 – Bring it on Canterbury!

Wow, where did the last year go? While we welcome the new year, we’ve had some pretty good memories created throughout 2015: Weddings, parties, balls, fundraisers and more – And thanks to our instant photo strips, the memories don’t fade!

In 2015 we traveled from Chch to Ashburton, Timaru, Queenstown, Dunedin, Blenheim, Nelson and a few places in between. Yep, we cover the whole South Island and we love to travel so wherever you are, we can get you a photobooth!
