Welcome to the end of June folks!

It has been a month of chilly weather here in the Bay of Plenty, in fact all over the country it has been freezing! I hope you’ve all kept safe, dry and warm over the last month, it’s sad to say but I think it’s only going to get colder!

With the cold weather there comes comfort in warming up with friends and family and reminiscing over fond memories. Memories are great, but can fade, so sometimes having a picture to renew those old feelings can be a valuable addition to any story or evening around the fireplace. Unfortunately some photos don’t stand the test of time, however some do. Like the high quality colour, or black and white prints from our Photo Booths.

We know that our equipment is top notch, and delivers exceptional results, consistently, that stand the test of time. Which given that you’re paying your hard earned money for our services, transforms the experience from a mere novelty, to a worthwhile investment in memories that can be drawn upon time and time again to provide cheer when the weather or other factors conspire to make the outlook gloomy.

We also have some pretty cool guys and girls working for us who don’t mind you and your guests cutting loose and having a great time. It’s of huge importance to us that every part of the Photo Booth Fun experience lives up to its name!

There is something so exciting about repeat bookings! We love that we get to attend your events each year – it is always so nice to see you again!

Obviously repeat weddings wouldn’t be ideal, after all you aim to do those just the one time BUT school balls and corporate events are a different story! It really is the greatest compliment to ask us back for another of your events and it sure makes us feel all loved! A couple of weeks ago the Taranaki Team headed back to do another SHGC ball and like always it was an awesome evening! It seems people can just never have enough of Photo Booth Fun!

Thank-you for remembering us and our booth each time you plan your events, we can’t wait for the repeat Christmas bookings! If you haven’t had one of our booths before … well why not? Bay of Plenty-School Balls and Wedding Shows

Hi everybody,

Over here in the Bay of Plenty we have had a great month attending the local school balls and getting amongst the excitement, for many of the students it was their first school ball. Luckily our booth was there to help capture the priceless memories of the night for them to enjoy in years to come! We attended the Mount College Ball, followed by the Tauranga Girls College Ball and rounded off by the Otumoetai College Ball. It’s not over yet either! We still have a few more school balls coming up in the two months and we are always really excited to help make our mark on a very special evening for many!   

Judging by the hordes of photos our booths have snapped from the first ball up to now (averaging 1150 per event!) and by the size of the never ending and continually recycling queue’s, we would say the booths are a feature not to be overlooked. It’s almost common place to see one of our booths at such events, and we can tell you that it just doesn’t get old seeing people emerge with wide grins and having a laugh when they examine the prints of their (frequently contorted) faces!

Additionally this month we were fortunate to have a stand at the Tauranga Wedding Show, held at ASB Baypark Arena. It was a great day and Taylor our regional manager was there talking to the lovely faces who came forward and courageously stepped into our booth for some first hand experience, it’s funny how once you’ve had a turn, you want to have another. We also asked people to submit their email into our iPad, we did this because we had been planning a special show offer that we have now sent out to the recipients, we think it’s a good one!

Part of our business philosophy is making your party or special event come alive and go down in history (at least with your friends and guests) as a great time worth every cent. We pride ourselves on the standard of customer service we provide, along with the quality we maintain throughout the process, from the use of high quality cameras to outstanding printers that make your photos look like they’re straight from the studio. It’s Ball time in Taranaki!

This is going to be awesome!

Photo Booth Fun will be hitting the Taranaki Autumn Ball in May and we can’t wait! It turns out 350 other people were equally excited and snapped up all the tickets within the first few weeks of sale! We hope if you are in The Naki that you got your tickets nice and early but if you didn’t then don’t stress because we can come to your next event! We can’t think of an event that our booths wouldn’t be perfect for – if you are hosting guests then chances are  a Photo Booth Fun booth would be the perfect way to keep your guests laughing!

Keeping secrets can be hard, especially when they are about something really exciting! And keeping secrets is exactly what the Taranaki team have been doing BUT the time is almost here to reveal all!

WEDDING SEASON is in full swing, and once again Hawkes Bay is living up to the label of the Wedding Capital of New Zealand (OK it’s self appointed but if you’ve been here you’d know we’re right!), this month the Hawkes Bay Photo Booth Fun team had the honour of attending Weddings not only in wineries and events centres here in Napier, Hastings and Havelock North but also in Wairoa, Gisborne,

Expo Time!

As the Wellington team prepares for our first Wedding Expo of the year, the North City Wedding Expo, its a good time to quickly talk about Expos.

Just recently I’ve started taking the booth to the weddings of folk who I’ve met at the various Wedding Expos that we attend in the Wellington region and its always really nice to finish something that may have begun two years ago! The thing with so many weddings is that details are often sorted out well in advance and, having been in the job for 18 months now, I haven’t had this opportunity often.

Expos can seem like a bit of a daunting prospect, or unnecessary as you think you’ve got it all “locked down” but it doesn’t hurt to go to a couple before the big day. Mainly because companies, like Photobooth Fun, do deals for these Expos and there’s always the chance of picking up more bang for your wedding buck – and there’s nothing wrong about that.

And its always a great chance to road test some of your products. We love having people in our booths at expos because its easy to see how fast and fun the process is, as well as the quality.

So a big congrats to all the brides and grooms who we met at an expo and ended up joining on their big day. Here’s hoping I meet some more later on this month!

Wedding Tasters at the Atrium

Over the last month, the Christchurch team had the pleasure of bringing our booth to a series of special wedding tasters at The Atrium in Hagley Park.

Events like these are a great way for people to get ideas and plan for their big day and for us, it’s always fun to meet happy couples and get them in for a turn in the booth. Once again, there was a lot of silliness in the booth and laughs were the order of the day.

It’d been a long time since I’d been to The Atrium and it’s looking fantastic. It’s in a beautiful setting and has great views out to the park. And the team managing it all, Victoria Foods, are also excellent caterers! Trudy and Gael did a great job organising the tasters events and it’d definitely be worth your while getting in touch with them if you’re planning your wedding.

I can’t wait to have the booth back at the Atrium again soon!
